Ordered for my 2001 4Runner with california emissions (2 cats). The flange has a pipe in the middle that exceeds and inserts into an opening on the headers. I believe that this piping sticks out too long, and caused a pretty gnarly gap between the flanges (OEM cats has a flush seal). The predrilled holes on the new Cat flange did not fit the header studs and caused some issues. Had to extend/widen all holes for it to even allow the studs to insert. 1 Week later and it is still holding up well. Pretty happy with the outcome, and some modifications are expected as it is a 25+ year old car.

Answered by Arnel E. / Tue, Jul 13Yes , It will . In two ways. The engine will breathe better and fuel injection will regulate better with a new converter. But remember to replace the o2 sensors at the same time for best results.

Answered by Grace G. / Tue, Dec 01This is a good aftermarket brand. But "not" O.E. It is a high loader converter and should work fine . Make sure to replace the O2 sensor as well. They work hand in hand.
