I'm definitely giving this product 5 stars. I've been dealing with this engine light regarding the catalytic converter for about 2 years. Every mechanic or auto shop were giving me estimates in the thousands. I took it upon myself to do the research on how it's done & it sure paid off. Hi,
Upon checking, this fits the 2005 Ford Taurus SE and SEL 6 Cyl 3.0L. Since you mentioned that the original one has 3 sensor holes and not 2... I would like to give a heads up about this part- Some states now require the use of CARB-COMPLIANT AFTERMARKET CONVERTERS. It is important to know your State’s requirements to determine the correct converter for your application and location. EPA guidelines do not allow mismatching emission components. You can check the Vehicle Emission Control Information sticker usually located underneath the hood for reference.
