Question: this is not an exact fit to a 2001 wrangler sport with 4.0 engine. The heat shields prevent you from bolting to the manifold and when you remove the heat shields it gets better, the bank2 sensor 2 can't be installed even if it was installed before mounting the engine pipe as it dosen't fit and hits the bell housing. Answered by Jeonino E. / Sun, Sep 26It fit perfect on my 2003 wrangler sport 4.0 but I was concerned like you mentioned with the heat shields because my original didn't have them on it but surprisingly it went right in. Sorry you had problems. I was anticipating the same day but got lucky. Hope you got it worked out.

Answered by Robert K. / Mon, Oct 04Question: Was this product even tested after manufacture? This product does not fit the 2003 Jeep Wrangler X with 4.0 liter inline 6 cylinder as stated. The two converters were welded together at the heat shields by a piece of material that is not present in the images. This also does NOT allow for any adjustments to the spacing of the converts so that you could fix their alignment with the manifold exhaust ports. It was miserable to bolt on and even after using the wire gaskets, there is an exhaust leak at the manifold. This is a poor product and does not match description. Time wasted waiting for it to arrive and then installing it after it did arrive. I'm not sure why anyone would weld the converters together unless they completely messed up the bends and attempted to fix it by doing so which also failed. I would not recommend this brand to anyone. Pay the extra money for a different one.Jerrod M. / Nov 23, 2023
