Easy fit and buy again. Only thing I could complain about is stickers are hard to peel off and smell due to burning off hot exhaust.

Well it has been over two months since I've installed the catalytic converter. The check engine light did turn off and I was able to pass my emissions test. So happy that it fixed the issue. It was an exact fit, the original bolts were very hard to remove. Now for the cons, it only comes with one metal gasket that is oversize. It will not fit. Just use the original two metal gaskets your car comes with. I also reused the bolts and springs the car came with, they look better quality to me. The worst part was that the part comes painted. The part gets really hot because of the hot gases going through it. So of course the paint started to burn off. It gave an awful burning smell inside the car. You need to drive with your windows down till it clears. Also the car was smoking through the engine bay. I was so scared I thought my car was on fire. It turns out it's just the paint from the catalytic converter burning off. Other than that I do recommend this product, I also bought this one because it has a 5 year warranty like the ones at AutoZone or O'Reilly's with out the big $ mark up.

Question: I have a 2014 kia soul base with a bank 1 p0420 code is this all I would need to put on ?Anique / Nov 17, 2021
Hello! This will most likely fix your issue, but I agree with James' answer as well.
MD
I would check back pressure at each oxygen sensor first. Then check or replace both oxygen sensors and make sure they are working before replacing the exhaust manifold.

Hi Kiyyah,
No, this is just the front unit, the one with the manifold that connects to the engine.

Answered by Axel M. / Mon, Oct 05Question: If I only changed this one on my 2012 Hyundai accent GS 4door hatchback are there other parts required to the system that I should have changed as well? And does the same code come up for other parts like this one that makes the check engine light come on?Jennifer W. / Dec 13, 2022
Hi Jennifer, I'm pleased to assist you. Replacing the catalytic converter is not that simple. There are a lot of fit notes to be clarified. What is the trouble code on the vehicle? Where is the vehicle registered? What is the emission label? These are just some of them. I suggest calling 1-866-529-0412 for our Parts Specialist to assist you. We look forward to hearing from you. Have a wonderful day.
