Replacement Evans Fischer EPA Compliant Catalytic Converter for 2002 Infiniti I-35Radiator Side Catalytic Converter, Federal Epa Standard, 46-State Legal (Cannot Ship To Ca, Co, Ny Or Me), 3.5L Engine

The catalytic converter was installed by my auto mechanic and to date has not thrown the DTC 0430 code over the last 500 miles of the auto being driven. It was a EPA direct fit aftermarket converter made by Evans Fischer that I’m hoping will be my last on my 2002 Infiniti I35 driven for 222,000 miles with the original Nissan converter. The cost of the converter was very appealing and reasonable.

I went thru 3 other cats from 3 different sellers and this one finally matched the ypipe on my 2002 Maxima. I also got my ypipe from these guys which was the 3rd one I tried lol.

The front converter shield could not be installed because the mounting tabs weren't in the correct location
The rear converter was difficult to install but I made it fit. It seemed to be a bit shorter.

Hi Kiesha, I'm glad to help you out. Yes, the vehicle has 3 catalytic converters, you are missing the one for the rear. These parts (SET-REPI960309) correspond to the 2002 Nissan Maxima GLE 6 Cyl 3.5L with federal type emissions (46 State). Please check the vehicle emission control information sticker that is usually under the car hood to ensure that the catalytic converter matches the specifications on the car emission label.
