Question: TIER1, EFN# VGM5.7V8G1EK. Are these cats stamped with the Federal I.D. information or is there a federal sticker for inspection purposes? I have a 1997 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am 5.7 engine.A Shopper / Oct 27, 2020
Hi, Some states now require the use of CARB-COMPLIANT AFTERMARKET CONVERTERS. It is important to know your State’s requirements to determine the correct converter for your application and location. EPA guidelines do not allow mismatching emission components. You can check the Vehicle Emission Control Information sticker usually located underneath the hood for reference. Please check first what type of emission the vehicle came with.
