WORKING NICELY AFTER A YEARCatalytic Converter, 2.2L, 4Cyl, Carb And Federal Epa Standards, 50-State Legal, California Series, Direct Fit
5.0/5
I had to replace the downpipe/converter on my 1999 Camry. I looked all over the Internet for a quality stainless steel cat pipe. My search led me to Magnaflow which is one of the few companies that actually show you the ceramic substrate in the catalytic and talk about why it’s better than the junkie ones you find on eBay. I plan on having this car for a long time and while there’s nothing better than oem Toyota parts, this appears to be a quality part. Of course, we won’t know for five or six years to come, but the original did last 23 years and only need a replacing because the flange rotted off. I suppose I could’ve fixed it and I still have it so maybe I’ll have to some day. I’m still pretty confident that even after a year of driving this through one New England winter, it still looks to be in excellent condition with no rust, so maybe there’s hope. I’ll keep you posted if possible.
