At first, it appeared that the magnaflow cat was incorrectly sized for my car but upon measuring twice, it lined up correctly. My only issue with the direct fit is the installation instructions don’t mention a list of tools you’ll need for the work. You need a good pair of pipe cutters and a chain clamp.
The u-bolt hardware can obviously be left permanently installed but with catalytic converter thefts so prominent it’s better to weld the downstream end and/or install a protector.
