Hi Darrell, I'm glad to help you out. Part number 50505 fits the 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 Laramie 8 Cyl 5.9L that has Federal type emissions. Check the "Vehicle Emission Control Information" sticker usually found underneath the hood to make sure the part matches the emission. I could not give you a recommendation for the exhaust system since there are 2 types. Let me provide you 2 links - 1 for this catalytic converter and the other link for the exhaust systems.
