It was harder to install than advertised. The fit was very close, but still a bit difficult to make fit - the tube was just a hair too long and not bent to quite the exact angles needed. The rubber grommet supplied for the sensor kept sliding inside the tube during installation. It took me about 5 tries to get it in. I finally had to put the sensor into the grommet, and then force it in to the opening one bit at a time using a flathead screwdriver. Oh yes, I coated the bottom of the grommet with Vaseline too.
Even given these issues, I am very happy with the resulting improvements in sound, performance AND gas mileage.
The truck sounds great (I had already added a cat-back dual exhaust system on the truck). Installing this gave the truck a deeper, throatier sound - more like a performance vehicle.
The greatest improvement in performance seems to be in accelerator response. The low end torque seems much improved. It is now far too easy to chirp the tires if accelerating hard from a stop. I live near a Highway Patrol post. I have to be careful. :O)
I am most pleased, however, with the improvement in gas mileage. I estimate 2-3 more mpg. I haven't measured it exactly yet, but this is my daily driver and I am using far less gas than before.
Oh yes, the pictures in the installation guide were very poor quality.
Over all, I am happy with the product, but the fitment and instructions could be improved. I would recommend this product to others.

(04 Ford F-150) Ordered on a Saturday, received on Thursday, great for Alaska.
Installed this Saturday, instructions good,
took my time, cleaned engine (wiped down),
everything fit, good clearances. I am not a
mechanic, I could of installed in 1 hour easy,
took my time about 2 hours or so. Started it
up took a ride... nice and responsive, sounds good
too. Hope the mileage is just as impressive,
Happy so far!!!
