Answered by Aldrin P. / Thu, Nov 03This is just a hard plastic cover that goes over your existing lid. It makes a lid that is in poor shape look new again. I used a high temp silicone to glue it right over top of the old lid upholstery.

Answered by Grace G. / Thu, Oct 07Hi, I am a customer and I wanted to share my answer to your question. This item is just a lid that fit perfectly over my existing console lid. It is secured with silicone and it looks great. I painted it to match console.(sorry no picture). Was a great alternative for my 1989 GMC S-15 pickup. Console lids are hard to find. Almost looks factory. Hope this helps.
