Hi Don, I am pleased to assist you. The XFE (Xtra Fuel Economy) version of the 2009 Tahoe was designed to reduce weight and improve fuel economy. Part of that effort included using aluminum suspension components, such as aluminum upper control arms and aluminum hoods and liftgates. So, yes, if your ride still has the factory aluminum control arms, this kit should be compatible. Use a magnet to check your upper control arms. If the magnet does not stick, they are aluminum.
