Electric fan bolted up perfect. Works perfect. Great price and good value. Save decent money from local parts houses. Thanks. Been using it for about 3 months now without any issues.

Question: Hi! Does this include the module? Apparently this is a common issue where the fan stays running after engine shutoffChris H. / Jun 30, 2020

Question: Please advise what could it cause the fan keeps running constantly after the car is off. It drains down the battery?Loc T. / Aug 27, 2020
Thanks Aaron for the detailed answer! I agree 100%

There is a computer located on the fan module itself (fan control module). Inside that computer are the relays that control the fans. These relays go bad and cause the fan to be stuck in the on position all the time while the vehicle has power. You can replace the module itself for an inexpensive price, however, often times the fans draw too much current and cause the module to die. I HIGHLY suggest ordering an entire assembly like this one (or OEM) to eliminate any further issues. I replaced the module and then the fan motors died and the car overheated. It’s not worth the risk to cheap out on just the module.

The relay is bad. Unfortunately the relay is built into the fan which means you have to replace the entire unit. I purchased mine’s from car parts. It took my mechanic two hours to replace. Quick fix!

relay is stuck. it should power off after key is turned off . but the contacts in the elay sometimes weld together not allowing it to power down
