Answered by Aldrin P. / Sun, May 08it has a solid front with small slots to hold insert, I am going to drill mine out for air flow does come with a plastic insert for the front that can be modified if you want but will void warranty coated the underside of mine with 3 cans of bedliner looks bad-ss when open
