Answered by Aldrin P. / Sat, Apr 29Question: My 2007 Toyota Avalon XLS which were made with defective dashboards that is just now starting to melt get sticky and gotten a crack when out in the sun from the heat. It only had 70,000 miles on it and had been garaged ever since I purchased it and was hardly driven until now so this issue is just now showing up since I drive it more often now. It gets sticky within 10 mins from the heat from the sun. They want 3,000 to replace it at Toyota for the part and labor. Does this cover the whole dashboard from end to end and will it keep the original one from melting and further cracking since it will be covered? ThanksROBIN F. / Oct 25, 2022
