Great product and fast shipping. The only problem I encountered was that I had to use the exterior handle rod keeper from my old latch. I couldn’t get the new one to lock

The part came packaged well, fit perfectly and seemed to be very good quality. The only issue I had was the provided orange clip that attached to the door handle rod. I was never able to get it to clip around the rod so I just used the clip from the original unit and everything turned out perfect.

Question: Is there a different actuator for power locks and remote start features?A Shopper / Jun 24, 2020
Hello! I'm not sure I understand your question. The door lock actuators are different from the remote start module. Are you having an issue with your remote start?

I have to say that I honestly don't know because I do not have remote start on my vehicle. But the door lock actuator worked perfectly with my key fob.

Question: What is the difference between the one that is over a $100 and the one that is $30?Miney / Dec 21, 2020
Hi Jerry, This affordable replacement one is with a 1 year unlimited mileage warranty(could last up to 4 years only) while the Dorman brand which cost $100 plus has a lifetime warranty (much more sturdier and could last up to 8 years).

I have no if it would work or not but so crazy that I received a email about this door actuator. As of two days ago, it keeps saying my driver door is unlocked and my alarm keeps going off. After doing some research online, they said it's more than likely the door actuator.

Question: Driver's side door windows won't go down, lock won't work from panel on arm rest?Elizabeth C. / Aug 21, 2022
Hi Elizabeth, I'm glad to assist you. That could be a blown-out fuse or relay. The door lock actuator is not directly connected to the window regulator. But, it surely uses the same wire connector inside the door. Check first relays or fuses and socket connectors if there are loose contacts. Also, re-seat socket connectors first. I hope this helps.

The window is probably from the actuator, but it doesn’t work the door locks.
