Question: I bought this for my 1991 Ford F350 driver's door. It fit perfectly with the longest attachment rod. But, the actuator does not have enough power to completely unlock the door without a little hand tug on the knob. Any suggestions for a remedy? Cal R. Oct. 2, 2022Cal R. / Oct 02, 2022
Hi Cal, I'm glad to assist you. The actuator should push up the door lock sufficiently, no need to nudge the door lock knob to fully push it up. You can have it returned for a replacement or refund. You have 90-days from the day you ordered it. You can call our hotline (1-866-529-0412) and ask to be transferred to the returns department. I hope this helps.

Answered by Jeonino E. / Sun, Oct 02You might think about cleaning all of your door latch assembly thoroughly with some kind of cleaner, like brake cleaner then oil it down good with some wd40 or like lite oil.

This part does not fit the 1985 Ford F-250. Upon checking, we currently do not have in stock a direct-fit door lock actuator for the vehicle.
