Question: What does non integrated mean?John B. / Jun 17, 2020
There is another part that this component screws onto that connects the actuator (this part) to the mechanism that moves the latch cables. So I am guessing Non-Integrated just means it does not come with the other mechanical part of the entire mechanism.

It is new. If putting it in a Highlander, don’t expect it to last long unfortunately. Toyota has an electrical issue that causes the actuators to fail to open completely. I replaced two but the issue returned after a couple weeks. I read up on it to better understand the issue. No issue at all with carparts.com product! I’ve bought multiple products from they and couldn’t be happier with quality and price. Hope this helps!
