The shield seems to be high quality. A little thicker and more flexible than the original. Fits well. Would be nice if it included the fasteners as I cannot find them anywhere and had to use clips and screws from a local parts store.

Perfect OEM replacementFront Engine Splash Shield, Base Model, 8 Cyl., 5.0L Engine

Needed to replace the engine splash shield on my 2008 BMW 328i sedan and saved a few hundred dollars over the dealer part. Installation was a breeze, just unscrew the bottom shield and swap for the new one. I also noticed that the new one seems to feel a little bit thicker and more durable than the original BMW one, which is better so it's more durable.
