The part is good. My problem is that I thought it would come with the plastic snap parts to put it in place, not some useless wine gift card, not knowing I needed to buy them separately.

Hi Darryl, I am pleased to assist you. The answer to both questions is no. Save and clean the old installation hardware because you can reuse some of it. Samples of the clips and other non-reusable installation items can be taken to an auto supply store and purchased there. Installation is straightforward. There are several videos online with step-by-step instructions. Just type "How to install engine splash shield" and add the vehicle's year, make, and model in the search field.
