It does the jobFront Engine Splash Shield, 4 Cyl., 1.3L Engine
4.0/5
Overall, the fitment is close to the OEM shield that was previously on the car. The material is flimsier than the OEM piece but is close enough to do its job. If you are really picky I would go OEM but if you are not this part is just fine.

This part fit my 2010 Honda Civic hybrid perfectly and saved me about $80 compared to the OEM Honda part. The auto tech who installed it said it was a perfect fit and gave no problems.

Great fit, but I was shocked by the size of the box. Turns out these things are foldable. Got to me in the agreed upon time, looks showroom new! Too bad most person won't see it.

I will add to Jeonino's answer that it mounts towards the front, starting just behind the front bumper lowest point. Make sure you get some of those plastic rivets for mounting. The old ones you might have were shot on our car, and not useable. Geno

Question: What kind of screws are needed to attach this to my 09 Civic Hybrid? I know there are some missing from my car.JoeJoe / Jan 13, 2021
Hi Jack, I do not have access to the type of screws information. Since you still have some attached to the vehicle, I suggest taking one sample to a local automotive shop in your area and get it from them.

Hello Joe, They're not screws, they're black clips and there are multiple sizes, the hybrid has 3 or 4 main shields like this under the car and there are different clip sizes at different points. As I don't have a sufficient car jack, I did not install this item myself. As I was getting my car serviced my mechanic offered to install this and the bumper shield if I provided the parts and clips, I ordered the two shields from carparts.com and the clips from Amazon by searching "Honda clips." He was able to successfully install these shields with those parts provided. If you're doing it yourself, Rather than use trial and error, a good way to find out which specific clips are required, I would go to the parts department of any Honda Dealer and explain to them what you're looking for and they should be able to provide you with the exact parts you'll need and order them for you. Good luck sir.

Question: Hello, Where/how is this part supposed to foot on the vehicle? I’ve got a 2007 civic hybrid and I don’t see this part on it or under it anywhere.Derek F. / Nov 06, 2020
Hi Derek, An engine splash shield is a cover located on the underside of cars. It protects your engine from potential damage caused by bumps, water, and debris. Upon checking, this is guaranteed to fit the 2007 Honda Civic Hybrid 4 Cyl 1.3L.

It's on the bottom right behind radiator. I have a 2008 hybrid and it's an exact fit. Just need the snaps which all garages have. This is a common replacement need for civics as they generally break down from how low they sit
