Hello –
The splash shield is designed to protect the underside of the engine from water and debris. It’s located beneath the engine and held in place by a collection of fasteners. On your particular car, the front portion of the splash shield slides into spaces located in the bottom of the bumper.

Answered by Aldrin P. / Sun, Aug 01This does not come with screws. I purchased my screws from the VW parts department. You will need 3 larger ones for back that has blue loctite (pt # WHT000729A) and 10 smaller one (pt # N90974701) for the rest. It's not an exact OEM shield so some alignment issues will occur when installing.
