Other than needing to shorten the catalytic to muffler pipe, this was pretty straightforward. Or should have been. Naturally, both studs at the flange sheared off and needed to be drilled out and replaced. Be ready for that.
The final fit was great and it looks good. The interior noise is higher than expected at slow speeds around town, but not bad. On the highway it’s nice, and has just enough sound to know the engine is running. No need to turn up the radio. 😀
I can notice the improvement in power.
The parts arrived quicker than expected from CarParts.
