I had these installed because I was looking for something that was not too loud but was able to provide that low idol sound that I wanted. The quality of the components is very sturdy and looks great (almost like factory) arrived in a well insulation foam expanding packaging to prevent any damage during shipping. When in idol it provides a great low tone, during slow acceleration it has a level that is exceptionally low, you can hear your radio set on a comfortable level. Mid acceleration it ramps up a little more with the sound progressively starts to get louder to a point that you will hear it in the cab. Fast acceleration it is LOUDER than stock and your neighbor's will hear you from a rather good distance. The tone will get quieter as soon as you reach an idol speed.
The best thing so far that I enjoy about this exhaust is the slight power gain that I noticed during freeway speeds. It seems to go faster with a lot less effort on the gas pedal. Most impressive is the cab noise, I was concerned about having that constant low humming in the cab, you will have it during RPM's between 2-3.5 thousand, than it will sound like you have the stock exhaust cruising at freeway speeds. This was probably my most rewarding things about this exhaust, I could have gone with many other brands, but in during my research the straight through packed filled mufflers offered that QUALITY low end sound that I was looking for. None of the high crackling sound that will resonate throughout the cab and the streets, almost sounding like a Jet engine looking for a mechanic to tie up all the loose parts. I was not looking for a blown lawn mower engine sound either. Overall, if you are looking for a well-built long-lasting exhaust system, I would HIGHLY recommend this if you have a Chrysler 300 or compatible vehicle.
