I should start out saying my 2018 cruze has the GM performance intake and calibration, so my results may differ from yours. I initially thought this exhaust was way to loud, specifically drone around 2750rpm.
I added 15sq feet of dynamat to the lower trunk(2x layers in some spots) and filled in the spare tirewell with foam and material(under and around the tire).
This completely changed the tone and volume of the exhaust and eliminated the drone I was experiencing. The rear crash crumple zone is very thin metal, it's resonance amplified by the spare tire well. Anyone not happy with the sound I'd highly recommend this upgrade.

Arrived in perfect shape. Everything went on smoothly and fit like a glove. There's a perfect gap between the tip and bumper. As for sound it's a little more subtle than I expected. It took a few days of driving for it to "break in". It has a nice low rumble that you mainly hear when accelerating to get up to speed. Once you're on a highway cruising at about 60mph you barely notice it. I think the loudest it gets is when the car cold starts. I'm very happy with my purchase.
