I put a Magnaflow stainless cat back exhaust system on my 2001 F350 with a V10 when it was new and loved it. It was still on the truck when I traded it in for a new 2020 F150 with a 3.5 turbo. I decided to put a Magnaflow cat back system on it. I chose the 19577 system with 4 inch pipes. I was really surprised how easy the bolts came off the cat end of the 3 1/2 year old pipes. The new system went up very easy and all the hangers lined up perfectly. Then I started it——I was very disappointed in the tone, and how loud it was in the cab. I sounded like some 1950’s old farmer’s truck with a hole in the exhaust. Today I received a 4 inch stainless steel resonator I bought from another vendor and installed it. It helped a lot, but I haven’t driven it enough to give a final verdict.

Supposedly the quietest system but still too loud for these 70+ year old ears. Had to extend the front hanger rod 2 inches to reach its rubber grommet. This for a '23 F150 Platinum CrewCab 4X4 5.0 engine.

I selected this exhaust for its loudest outside along with the quietest inside rating. If this is the quietest inside rating, I would hate to hear the loudest inside rated exhaust system! It sounds awesome outside, but much too loud inside the truck. Now I have to find a solution (which means spend more money) to quieten it down some. The Wife hasn't ridden in it yet, but I already know what will be said. It went together well, and does look sharp too, but the inside decibels is no es bueno!

Very good clean sounding exhaust. Extremely deep sound, almost like a V8. No turbo spool noise through it and the hanger rests on the spare tire. Other than that, all good things. Easy install.
