The light was an exact replacement for the original.
Removing the headlight assembly above the fog light is definitely the best way in replacing it.

Hi James, I'm glad to assist you. The original fog light bulb type is a halogen 899/ 899B1. You simply would have to upgrade this halogen bulb to LED 899 bulb type, extreme super bright. Unfortunately, we do not carry the LED 899 bulb version for your fog lights.
