Question: Is the actuator the reason my door locks on it's own?A Shopper / Oct 29, 2020
Hi, Worn-out and exposed grounding wires found in the system, which aid in the closing and opening of the doors, can cause this problem, especially if one of the wires touches the body of the vehicle. This, too can make the doors to lock and unlock while you are driving. It is also possible that it would be the door lock actuator. I recommend having the vehicle diagnosed by a certified mechanic to determine what part needs replacement.
