Hi Charlie, There are actually two pressure sensors on a fuel system of a vehicle. The fuel tank pressure sensor and a fuel rail pressure sensor. Based on the OEM part number this replaces, 31435FD500. This is a fuel tank pressure sensor. That part is located on top of the fuel pump assembly. We apologize for the non-specific name of the part on our catalog. The correct name should have been a fuel tank pressure sensor. Hope that clarifies it once and for all.

The 2005 Kia Sedona is totally different. Than mine. It is the first generation. So I'm not sure. In 2006 Kia totally redesigned the Sedona. On mine it goes on top of the gas tank. Next to the electric fuel pump. It is accessible through a metal plate under the carpet. Under the second row removable driver side seat. Google it and there's diagrams on the net. That shows were its located. Or get a service manual at Auto zone. Hope this helps.

It’s on top of the fuel tank where the fuel pump housing sits. Should be a cover from inside the car over the tank that once removed you can get to the sensor
