Alternative to buying whole sending unit!Fuel Pump, Electric, Without Fuel Sending Unit, Oe Replacement Series

Replacing only the pump isn't real technical, but one needs to go slow so as not to break the gas gauge sending unit and there is talk of replacing an intake fuel filter which isn't included with the new fuel pump. So don't to the repair when you're tired and put silicone grease on the plastic retaining ring that holds the sending unit onto the gas tank, that makes it easier during re-assembly. Not a hard job to install a new fuel pump into the fuel pump sub-assembly, just don't take it too lightly as some things can go wrong, if you're not careful.
