Hi Steve, I'm glad to assist you. No, this does not require a gasket since it is an exterior-mounted type of fuel pump assembly and a mechanical type as well. The internal type of fuel pump is the one that needs a seal or gasket. The part number for that is RF31450019 (this comes with a seal already).
