Good fit. But why is it stuck on E now even if it has fuel. My car will also sometimes act like it ran out kf gas when it has some. Any idea why?

This part does not fit the 2005 Land Rover Range Rover HSE 8 Cyl 4.4L (only for 2006-2009). It is generally advisable to replace the fuel pump with the fuel sending unit. We do carry the direct-fit part for the vehicle and it is part number REPL314514 (with 1 electrical connector; 6-prong pin connector). Please follow the link to get to the product page;

Answered by Grace G. / Mon, Mar 08Yes, when changing the fuel pump you’ll also change the sending unit. I purchased the kit for my 2006 Range Rover a few months ago. I will say it did not provide an accurate reading before or after I replaced it. Could just be my car it always would read 1/4 tank when empty.

This part is guaranteed to fit the 2007 Land Rover Range Rover HSE 8 Cyl 4.4L. After replacing the fuel pump, it is advisable to change also the fuel filter.
