I purchased this gas tank because it highlighted “direct fit. Before I could mount the tank to the tuck I had to move my submersible gas pump and the fuel gauge sensor from my old tank to the new one. The new tank was 12 inches deep and my old tank was 13 inches. The fuel gauge is adjustable but not the submersible gas pump fixture. So I am now returning the tank and because it has gone beyond 30 days since delivery I have to pay return shipping. My bad but if the tank had truly been direct fit I would b using it.
