Other gas caps are trash. I have bought 3 different ones they were cheaper and more expensive than this one, but this is the only one that fit perfect and made it easy to get the cap on and off.

I have to open the cap, clean it a bit and replace it and hope the lights go off. They eventually do but will replacing the original cap with this one solve the problem ? Hi Philip, I'm glad to assist you. It might also be the canister purge check valve that is having issues. Did a mechanic run a diagnostic already on your car and a trouble code was generated? Still, you forgot to mention the year of your Lexus 430SC. For us to carefully check and be accurate on the part that you need, please provide the complete information of your vehicle (year, make, model, submodel, and engine size). Answered by Jeonino E. / Fri, May 06A new gas cap may solve your problem. An inexpensive fix if it works. I had a similar problem with a Honda Accord. New gas cap did not help ended up spending $$$ for new sensor. Try the new gas cap first nothing to lose.
