Question: I ordered and received the grill for my 98 Ford Explorer. It came in 3 sections. The 2 curved side pieces have plastic crossbars on them. Were these on there to protect the parts during shipment and meant to be removed?Kurt L. / May 31, 2025
Hi Kurt, I'm glad to assist you. That is one whole frame trim assembly and not to be removed. Please check the original ones on your SUV to compare it. You can also refer to your trusted local mechanic or check a vehicle-specific repair manual to confirm the whole appearance of the part.
