The grille fit my 2008 Ford Escape without any issues. It snaps into the grill insert that bolt to the front of the Escape. I would recommend buying it as well. I had to be careful not to break it why taking the old grille off since the age made the plastic prone to break. Once I got it off the new one snap right on. The black grille looks better than the chrome one it replaced.
