Question: I have a 2” lift on my truck, Will this guard decrease the lift at the front end?DENNIS / Apr 03, 2025
Hi Dennis, I'm glad to assist you. The Ranch Hand Grille Guard (MFT16MBM1) is made to be a heavy-duty installation for your Toyota Tacoma. With its weight of 175 to 210 pounds, it attaches right to the truck's factory mounting points. While the grille guard itself won't directly affect suspension or lift, the added weight might have some effect in making the front end sag a bit, particularly if your suspension is not meant to support more weight. If you're worried about keeping your 2-inch lift, you may want to consider replacing your front suspension parts, i.e., the coil springs or shocks, to support the added weight. It will serve to maintain the lift and give the best performance. If your truck is compatible with this part (after selecting the year, make, model, and engine side), grab our best price and click the link below to buy it today. Happy shopping!
