Works after easy modsHeader Panel
3.0/5
As always, JC Whitney got the part here quickly. The old header panel was brittle, and had broken in a couple spots that hold the headlight and turn signals.
The dealer wanted $300+, so I checked here. This one was a "custom fit", and the price was right.
When I went to install it, there were no huge fit issues. The tabs on the bottom where it connects with the grill (not the grill cover) were too wide. Snipped off the excess with some tin snips, easy.
There was one anchor site to screw a holding tab from the turn signal that needed a starter hole drilled as it was solid. All the other 'anchors' had holes. On the right side, the plastic bit where you put the trim that goes between the side marker and the fender was pretty warped, luckily straight down so the lens itself straightened it out.
All in all, not disappointed. It's functional so far, and you don't see it anyway.
