The only thing different about this motor than the original motor was the color of the wires, everything lined up perfect the motors work as they should. This was an excellent purchase. And I recommend it to anyone.

Answered by Mitchell D. / Tue, Jul 14Would have to disassemble the unit to find out (voiding any warrantee), but I assume nylon.
I have purchased brass replacement gears for this car previously. The result was that the motor then breaks the limit stops. Then I had to "engineer" metal limits which worked to an extent, but started causing the headlights to bind and lock up in the closed or open state.
I replaced both driver and passenger side well over a year ago and could not be happier. They work flawlessly. I will happily repurchase the same again if these ever fail.
