Not happy with lights. Ordered twice and both sets didn’t include the bulbs as advertised and did not fit my vehicle after all if those weeks of waiting. The auto repair shop still wanted the labor fee even if the work was not completed. Would be nicer to be reimbursed the 350.00 charge as well.

Question: I'm not a car expert so excuse my ignorance.
1) Regarding the need to also order a ballast, my head lights currently function but are foggy and get condensation inside. Does this mean I have functioning ballasts and don't need to order?
2) I have a control inside the car that allows slight up/down tilting of the light direction. Do these lights allow that function to continue? I don't know if all FX35s had this function in 2007.
3) Since there is conflicting information, do these housings come with the actual light bulb?Timothy B. / Dec 21, 2021

I'm not a car expert either, but my understanding is that if the headlight is currently functioning then you don't need to replace the ballast, and can use the old ballast with the new lens assembly. I have a 2008 FX35, and the up/down headlight tilt still worked after I replaced the lens assembly. It did include the bulb as I recall.

This headlight assembly with marker lights, comes with the lens, housing and bulbs already. But this does not come with the HID ballast or bulb control unit.

Answered by Jeonino E. / Fri, Nov 13The lenses are fantastic. The unit comes with marker lights and turn signal bulbs. It does not come with the ballast. However Amazon has a ballast kit for like $32. I am very pleased with these. You should also purchase the plastic clip kit for $8 the ones that hold the front bumper cover get dried out from the heat of the radiator. I did both lenses and ballast for like $650 total. Best I could find anywhere was close to $1,200. I would buy these again in a heart beat.
