This was CAPA certified. Save $100 and buy one that isn't. Lower inner bolt mounting hole was almost 1/2 off and alignment with fender is inset by 1/4". My truck has never been wrecked...managed install without breaking unit. Had to do something inspection due.

No, this is a halogen headlight and not an HID. They are different designs and not interchangeable.

Yes, the headlight is sealed and with a breather hole so it will not fog up the lens.
