Hi Dwayne,
The Certified Automotive Parts Association (CAPA) was created by automobile insurance companies to oversee a test program guaranteeing the suitability and quality of automotive parts.
However, for the non-CAPA (Standard Grade), keep in mind that being non-CAPA certified doesn't necessarily mean lower quality. The parts are just as good but the manufacturer chooses not to pursue CAPA certification in order to cut costs.

Answered by Grace G. / Thu, Dec 10CAPA is a parts certification that means basically it should fit, feel and finish like an OEM pet. Standard grade parts should fit just fine but might be a little less “perfect” in their precision and manufacturing.
