Hi- This is a direct fit plug and play headlight assembly for your given vehicle application. Once installed, the focus has to be adjusted(with adjusting screw at back of housing) before use. No need for a program code. However, if you have other unique or special functions on the original headlight this could not be the correct type. I also saw a LED type option of headlight on our listing. Please check your owners manual for other details to be accurate. Also, it is best to consult with your dealership by providing the VIN of your car, and they should tell you what type of headlight you have.
