These were somewhat easy to install...had a few difficulties, but got them on. They are a perfect match and the difference from the old ones that were fogged out is truly going from blind to being able to see.

I’ve not installed them yet due to cold weather. However they are well built and came in a timely manner the appear to be good quality. I would like to find LED headlight bulbs for them.

Hi Mike,
The headlight assembly is complete with lens, housing, and bulbs included. This is a plug and play part simply replacing your original factory headlight. I checked and blowed up the image of our headlight and I am not really seeing the strip rubber you are referring to(or probably hard to see on the image). However, the edge of the top housing shows a dark lining that goes on the side portion which is probably what you are referring to. This headlight should simply be installed and the focus adjusted for proper use.
