Hi John, I'm happy to assist you. It is advisable to have the beams manually adjusted. Yes, you can do it yourself. There are mounting screws and adjustment screws above, below, and to the side of the headlight. Park your vehicle 25 feet from a wall, and place a piece of tape horizontally 4 feet high across the wall in front of your vehicle. Turn the top adjustment screw clockwise to raise the beam and counterclockwise to lower the beam. Adjust the headlights until they shine on the tape. Answered by Grace G. / Fri, Sep 03You will have to do some adjusting after installation. Mine was (from factory) set to the center of the adjustment screw. Each car will be different and be sure when adjusting, your tires are fully inflated as this does raise and lower your car. Have fun Larry
