I had to adjust the plugs to the new light fixture but everything else was good because the plugs weren’t the same

Question: Have a 2013 Dodge dart. Replaced the headlamps now the new headlights flicker. Did not touch the bulbs. What am I missing?Jamison D. / Nov 14, 2020
Hi,
There is a possibility that the headlight that flickers has loose terminal contact. Please check the socket connectors at the back of the headlight if 1 or 2 terminals were loose and pushed backward resulting to a loose contact. Push all the socket connectors properly as well. Please have it checked by an automotive electrician or friend who knows to troublkeshoot as well. Make sure also, all the fuses for the headlight is not busted as well or the relays for the headlight is in good condition.

Answered by Jeonino E. / Sat, Nov 14i believe you need a hid conversion kit with a relay harness which stops flickering.thoight about upgrading.. but do i really want to the kits cost around 130-200 plus the bulbs plus the headlights..i gueaa it depends gow much you want HID

Answered by kurby / Sat, Feb 11If you did not originally have hid headlights the computer in the car needs to be switched out. Unfortunately this also requires a new wiring harness.
