Answered by Andrew B. / Fri, May 14Replacing your existing headlight housings will eliminate the need for continued repair. The fogged look on lights is due to the UV coating beginning to oxidize and break down. A proper restoration requires them to be sanded down, polished out and clear coated. Using cleaners and some kits only provide a temporary fix and will eventually need to be redone.

Answered by David C. / Fri, May 14Yes, trying to make them clear again is a waste of time, they will fog up in short order. The coating that protects against UV is gone so just replace them. I did and am glad I did. I have replaced the lights on 2007 Chevy PU for the same reason. Cheaper to replace then try some of the products over and over.

It fit like a dream and it was MUCH better then the factory kia one has been on my wifes car for a little over 8 months now no oxidizeing at all and no fogging a little brighter then the kia one to This is a better part then what i got from kia
