These work and look great. Greatly increased my visibility at night over the deteriated units inhad previously. My one complaint is that the fit is off a bit. Even adjusted to sit as far in as possible, the pointed corner on the outer edge of the unit stick out from the body of the vehicle a few milimeters. And it's sharp. Ended up cutting my hand when I was cleaning my car once because I wasn't as mindful as i usually am. But, there is a way to fix it, I will drill an additional hole on the mounting arm that will allow me to push the unit in a little more.

Answered by Andrew B. / Thu, Dec 16I don’t know but they worked perfectly for my 2012 optima SX. The vin number should reveal if it was built in Korea or US and that is what determines fit. Mine was US. They did not change anything from 2012 to 2013 regardless of model.

Answered by Arnel E. / Fri, Dec 16If you are referring to the side markers on the outer edge of each light, yes they light up when the headlights are on but do not flash. The turn signals are at the inner side of each unit and do work. Mine came with all the bulbs installed.

If your car's VIN starts with the letter K, it is Korean-built and the headlights are incompatible (fits the 2012 to 2013 Kia Optima EX and LX submodels).
