Fit like OEM and had a ton of light with our Lucas Lighting LEDs!
These ARE NOT a direct replacement for HID housings but with some rewiring they will work.
They are an EXACT replacement for halogen housings!

Answered by Jeonino E. / Sat, Mar 18I think these were the headlights I bought for my 2009 Eclipse. Yes, they directly connected to the orginal equipment wiring connectors. The new headlights already had new bulbs, which was very convenient. The new healights look beautfiul, although Mitsubishi didn't make the replacement effort as easy as it could have been!

Upon checking, this set of headlights does not fit any of the GS models mentioned for 2009. Can you send us the VIN so we can check the fitment and recommend to you the correct headlights to order? Answered by Grace G. / Fri, Apr 08I'm nothing even close to a "mechanic" but was able to install these headlights on my 2009 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS with absolutely no problems. (Later on, I ordered taillights for my car but needed the help of a real mechanic to install them.) Anyway, give it a try. If you can't do it yourself, a mechanic shouldn't charge more than $25 for one headlight, or $40 for two.

You actually need a headlight conversion kit for an HID to halogen type because the wiring, socket connectors, HID and halogen bulbs have a totally different design from each other. The socket mounting will not match. You cannot interchange the two easily.
