Mine were perfect and fairly easy to install. The old ones were very fogged and the difference at night was dramatic. At installation I got lazy and installed them without testing first. One of the pins was pushed in and didn't work. I had to remove, fix the pin , and reinstall. So plug in, test all bulbs, and then tighten all the screws. I took apart the old ones and the 'fogging' appeared to be sandblasting on the outside surface only (probably from a lot of freeway driving). The inside surface seemed to be clear.
